Every instrument is written in native C++ with the latency budget decided first, not measured afterwards. Six of the nine add nothing at all, zero samples at any rate and every mode, and the other three declare their delay to the sample and compensate it. Bypass is bit-exact on every unit. The displays redraw up to 120 times a second, and where the meters have to track transients the frames are taken from the screen's own refresh instead of a free-running timer, so nothing drifts against the display. Rotaries take a vertical drag with a fine-tune modifier and read out in tabular figures, displays are recessed wells with persistence trails and overflow alerts, and underneath it all the signal path stays honest: oversampled up to 16×, with no hidden gain. macOS Universal and Windows, 64-bit.
