Stereo Widener
From subtle width to super-wide, with a wobble that breathes. Our Spatial Decorrelation Engine gives you two exclusive modes — phasey decorrelation or natural precedence — plus detune and a routable LFO, watched over by a goniometer and a real correlation safety meter.
VINAIstereo widens, detunes and moves the image without adding a single sample of latency — and bypass returns your signal bit-for-bit, exactly as it went in.
We ship numbers — measured to the floor of the instrument itself.
0 ms latency · bit-exact bypass · no measurable crosstalk · zero self-noise · 48 kHz

One DELAY knob, reinterpreted. WIDE runs M/S decorrelation — a short delay with a right-channel polarity flip — for a very wide, phasey image that cancels back to the original in mono on mono sources. HAAS uses right-channel precedence — an inter-channel time difference — for natural, transparent width.
A routable LFO sends slow movement into the image. Pick Sine, Triangle or smoothed Random; lock it to tempo from 1/1 to 1/32 — dotted and triplet included — or run free from 0.05 to 20 Hz. The STEREO control offsets the L/R phase up to 180° for a swinging side-to-side motion, while ±20 cents of dual-tap DETUNE thickens supersaws.
A goniometer plots the signal in real time — dry in lava orange, wet in core blue — so you can watch the field open. Beneath it, a correlation bar runs green/blue for in-phase, through amber, to red when anti-phase: the honest mono-safety readout. The delay is the effect, so latency is zero.
Two exclusive widening engines on a single DELAY knob, plus a modulation layer you can route wherever you want it.
M/S decorrelation with a right-channel polarity flip — very wide and phasey, and mono-safe: mono sources cancel back to the original in mono.
Right-channel precedence delay — an inter-channel time difference for natural, transparent width. Combs in mono, as Haas always does.
The creative third element — a routable LFO with shape, tempo-sync, depth and 0–180° stereo swing, sent to delay, width or detune.

Drive the source before you widen it — four bands, five distortion characters each, with a real-time analyzer.

The counterweight to width — rebuild low-end energy lost to phase conflict for a solid mono that never sounds hollow.

Verify what the widener does to the waveform — bit-transparent real-time monitoring with phosphor persistence.
